Following her work at Odyssey, Melissa returned to direct patient care as a nurse with Heart to Heart Hospice, where she worked from 2012 to 2022, During these years, her dedication to hospice deepened as she recognized the vital importance of educating families about hospice benefits. This led her to a Community Liaison position with Heart to Heart Hospice from 2022 to 2023, where she focused on public education about hospice care.
